Despite a spirited second half come back by Cwmllynfell the Quins got back to winning ways with a bonus point victory.
The Quins started strongly and skipper Craig Cox lead his pack well and support from Matthew Saker forced a penalty goaled by Marc Sheppard, Cwm hit back quickly and Troy Cusack put his side ahead with two penalties.
Good forward pressure and a strong burst by Dan Helson took play to the visitor's line and Cox crashed over for a try converted by Sheppard. The Quins produced some dazzling back play and a superb break from Ryan Pugh took play under the shadow of the visitor's posts and smart handling by tireless flanker Adam Dawe put winger Marcus David over for Sheppard to convert.
Prospects looked bleak for Cwmllynfell as the rampant Quins pack were clearly on top. Callum Beynon secured his line out and stole several of visitors' throws.
From a scrum fifteen metres out No.8 Saker delivered a flat pass to full back Foard Cooksley who came into the line at an unstoppable angle that left defenders flat footed. Sheppard converted.
Early in the second half the Quins secured their try bonus with a spectacular score. Jack Dacey received the ball near his own line and ran strongly taking play to half way, great support from Cox and Dawe backed up by Nathan Flynn and Pugh put Sheppard in space and he crossed for the try, which he converted Staring at a big defeat, Cwmllynfell struck back in dramatic fashion when Bowdy Davies charged down a kick and won the race for a touchdown converted by Cusack. Davies then rounded off a sharp three-quarter move with an unconverted try. The outstanding Cox then hit back after some serious Quins forward pressure by scoring his second try. The last word went to Cwmllynfell as Efan Ellis scored a try converted by Craig Jones.
